Eileen advises public, private and nonprofit clients on pay equity, pay transparency and salary history compliance, and clients trust Eileen to help them navigate compliance in these areas. She frequently conducts pay equity audits and advises on public disclosure of the results, board and union reporting, and best practices for incorporating pay equity into diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and environmental, social and governance (ESG) programs.

With more than 20 years of consulting experience, Octavio Cardenas leads the Employee Rewards practice at Alpine Rewards. Octavio has a wide range of knowledge and experience in employee compensation and total rewards, with the focus on benchmarking/leveling, designing global job architectures, salary frameworks and short-term and long-term incentive plans. Based in San Francisco, Octavio supports leadership, management, and human resources teams in organizations with a wide range of cultures and at multiple growth stages – from early series A start-ups to public high growth companies and multinationals.

Enrique Esclusa

Enrique Esclusa is a Co-Founder of Assemble. Most recently, Enrique led the strategic finance, biz ops, and rev ops teams at Expanse (acquired by Palo Alto Networks). Prior to Expanse, Enrique was a growth investor at TPG in San Francisco. He began his career at Barclays as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Power & Utilities Group. Enrique holds a B.S. in Finance & Economics from NYU Stern School of Business.

Josh Steinfeld

Principal Product Strategist at Carta


Josh Steinfeld leads product strategy for Carta Total Compensation. He joined Carta having spent over 20 years as a compensation professional. Josh started his career as a consultant for Willis Towers Watson focusing on executive compensation, working directly with Compensation Committees and CEOs on executive compensation benchmarking, design, and various corporate governance issues. Prior to joining Carta, Josh was on the Compensation team at Google, leading compensation for YouTube, Area 120 (Google’s corporate incubator), and Google’s corporate functions.
