David Wallerich

VP of HR Operations at Vectra AI


David has spent most of his 24-year career in HR driving technology adoption, scaling venture-funded startups, expanding global operations and bringing order to chaos. He’s a self-described tech, compensation and operational efficiency nerd with a passion for internal communications and the employee experience. He relishes solving people challenges in different industries, including financial services, biotech, logistics and high-tech. The San Francisco Bay Area is his home base - where he works remotely - and occasionally visits Vectra AI’s San Jose headquarters.

Niamh Alix

Chief HR Officer at Prime Medicine


Pronounced ‘Neeve’, Niamh moved to the USA from Ireland over a decade ago with Novartis Pharmaceuticals to Boston. Her career in HR spans over 20 years mainly spent in large pharma/ biotech and mostly global in nature. She has spent her recent years in the biotech start-up/medium-sized company’s space. She loves all things People and Culture and cares deeply about how we manage internal HR systems to ensure a positive employee experience to attract and retain employees. In her current role as CHRO for Prime Medicine, based in Cambridge, Boston, she brings unique experience from a recent IPO-d company building many of their compensation strategies from scratch with her self-confessed “phenomenal” HR and leadership teams.

Octavio Cardenas

Managing Director, Employee Rewards at Alpine Rewards


With more than 20 years of consulting experience, Octavio Cardenas leads the Employee Rewards practice at Alpine Rewards. Octavio has a wide range of knowledge and experience in employee compensation and total rewards, with the focus on benchmarking/leveling, designing global job architectures, salary frameworks and short-term and long-term incentive plans. Based in San Francisco, Octavio supports leadership, management, and human resources teams in organizations with a wide range of cultures and at multiple growth stages – from early series A start-ups to public high growth companies and multinationals.

Lisa Wallace

Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Assemble


Lisa Wallace is a Co-Founder of Assemble. Most recently, Lisa served on the executive team of Abnormal Security where she was the first business leadership hire. Prior to Abnormal Security, Lisa was the first business hire at Expanse (acquired by Palo Alto Networks). Lisa holds a B.S.H. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
